Proposal for an event in Melbourne
I designed this poster for Badminton Carnival 2021. This encapsulate various key features, along with its visual elements. A jumping boy was incorporated as a dynamic element to indicate its emphasis on fun, sport, group activity, and competition. The addition of distinct patterns and the brand’s symbol further amplified these concepts. The primary colour of blue was chosen to align with the brand’s values, while yellow was used to designate the focus points of the message.
Creative Hoarding Trial program with City of Melbourne
This proposal is designed for the application of large-scale printing to walls which enclose many construction sites located in Melbourne. It is inspired by the concept of a futuristic, organised and technology-driven city. Before creating this product, I developed a mood board and rendered a set of sketches to influence the eventual outcome. This illustration is 100% vector.
Upon completion of the illustration, including all necessary details, the animation process for both the drones and cars was initiated. This meticulous process was executed using a combination of Illustrator and Adobe After Effects. The animation was my own initiative after finishing the illustration.
Full vector (JG Monogram & Emblem design)
A friend’s father asked me if he would like to have an emblem with his and his children’s initials Jorge Gamboa (JG). They both have the same name. So they could both wear the same design. Now that his son will become a father in a few months, he wants to give him the surprise of a cap and t-shirt with this emblem. This was the final result of research, sketching, vectorisation and refinement.
